La Mona Habitats
Resort
Wayanad, Kerala
2026
This commercial resort project in Wayanad was envisioned as a destination that blends nature, comfort, and a refined guest experience. The client aimed to create a space that offers a peaceful escape while maintaining high standards of design, functionality, and hospitality.
Our role was to translate this vision into a well-planned, aesthetically cohesive environment where architecture and landscape work together to enhance the overall experience of the space.
Our approach focused on creating a timeless yet contemporary residence by combining clean lines, neutral tones, and premium materials. We prioritized spatial efficiency while maintaining visual elegance, ensuring each area serves both practical and experiential purposes.
The design is inspired by the natural surroundings of Wayanad lush greenery, calm atmosphere, and organic textures. The architecture is kept subtle and grounded, allowing the landscape to take the spotlight. Natural materials, earthy tones, and open spaces are used to create a seamless connection between built and unbuilt areas. The layout is planned to ensure privacy for guests while maintaining accessibility and operational efficiency.
We focused on designing not just structures, but an experience. Every decision from layout to material selection was made to enhance guest comfort while supporting the operational needs of a resort environment. Close coordination and structured planning ensured that the design remained practical, buildable, and aligned with the client’s business goals.
The result is a resort concept that offers a serene and immersive stay experience while maintaining a strong architectural identity. The project stands as a balance between natural beauty, thoughtful design, and commercial viability.
